Wow, I can hardly believe it. Today, I helped a friend at work list a $50 Nordstrom Gift Card on eBay as a Buy It Now item for $45 with free shipping. Within 5 minutes it sold, unbelievable! I figured it would take at least a few hours since there were other Nordstrom $50 gift cards with bids as high as $47.

Anyway, I would assume that the buyer was snipping out gift cards when this one was listed and scopped it up immediately. I didn't even have time to BUMP IT on www.AuctionBump.com before it sold.  Not Cool!

Once again gas prices are climbing near or above the $3 mark. Where is all the outrage? Water cooler, no outrage... check, pumping gas, no outrage... check, newspapers, media, congress-critters, no outrage... check. Hum, I wonder why... the silence???

If I recall when George W Bush was our president and prices were about the same, there was non-stop media coverage about the high gas prices. You couldn't pump gas without noticing others shaking their heads at the pump. You couldn't even tap the water cooler at the office without the subject of high gas prices coming up in conversation. Even our congress-critters where shown non-stop on TV demanding lower prices. So what is different this time?

The difference now is that the media is covering for our dear leader Obama. You see, dear leader gets a pass on everything from the liberal media including... yes high gas prices. That is the difference IMO.
