Parades, Picnic’s, Barbeques and Fireworks have been a long standing tradition for Americans from the birth of this great nation. On this day back in July 4, 1776 the founding fathers of this country declared independence from Great Britain by signing the Declaration of Independence. Thanks to these great men a great nation was born.

Myself, Mr Bump went to the Towson Parade today as you can see in the picture above (local scout pack) and will be going to the local fireworks tonight to celebrate this great nation. So, fire up your grills, chill out your beers, look to the sky and enjoy your freedom on this July 4th 2009.
